Through partnerships with community-based health care organizations, we aim to deliver the same level of care to other parts of Houston . With an emphasis on under-served neighborhoods, we aim to increase availability, and there by choice, for residents.
Job Summary
Responsible for providing direct clinical patient care. Perform routine examinations, obtain medical histories, order treatments, diagnosis of illnesses, prescribe medication, interpret diagnostic tests, refer patients to specialists when appropriate and treatment in a primary care clinic setting.
Ideal candidate must work with other medical staff to establish protocols and treatment regimens, deliver and direct patient care, communicate effectively with staff, work with the principal of quality care to implement a quality assurance experience. Candidate will be responsible for the immediate supervision of other staff to assure conformance with industry-wide-best-practices.
Minimum Requirements
The possession of a valid Texas Physician license (MD) as well as the ability to work 5 days a week (Mon-Fri) 9am-5pm and Saturday 8am-12pm (optional). Board certification is desired but not required. 3-5 years physicians experience preferred. The person must be extremely personable as well as a self-starter.
The ability to fluently converse in Spanish is a plus.
Compensation
Our compensation package is highly competitive with annual bonus, productivity bonus, health insurance, four weeks of paid time off, retirement, mal-practice insurance, and continuing education pay available.
