SALARY: $72,000/Year Based on two days per week

JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Provide psychiatric care to the children served by the Agency. Acts as a medical consultant and advises one or more programs of this Agency on medical policies and protocol. MUST BE LICENSED IN VERMONT OR ABLE TO TRANSFER LICENSE THERE!!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibility and authority to make decisions and take action as close to the point of service as possible. Committed to the highest standards of personal and professional behavior while being honest and ethical in all actions, accountability to commitments and responsibility for actions and outcomes. Customer driven excellence through ongoing feedback, anticipating internal and external customer needs. Behavior health and Psychiatry Services. Participate in risk management, utilization, peer review and quality assurance programs. Maintain appropriate training or experiences to address the needs of the person served. Participate or chair various committees. Provide client evaluation and consultation services as requested.
REQUIREMENTS: MUST MEET ALL OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS!
1. Medical Degree in Psychiatry from an accredited medical school
2. 2+ years experience in Child Psychiatry
3. License to practice in Vermont (clean record) or abilty to transfer
4. Board certified or eligible to be board certified
5. MUST BE LICENSED IN VERMONT OR ABLE TO TRANSFER LICENSE THERE!
